In the Home: Here and Now, Project at Tasmania Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) featuring a Tasmanian Chinese community display event:

The exhibition will run at TMAG until the 3^rd November 2024. Then move to QVMAG. At the close of the exhibition it will be available on line.

The exhibition will incorporate family heirlooms and objects from the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery’s (QVMAG) Joss House (Guan Di Temple) collections. QVMAG has been the custodian of these collections since the 1930s.

It is composed of contents from all the Joss Houses in the North East whose final destination was the Weldborough temple until they were donated to the Launceston City Council.
